Founded in 2020 across Naarm and Eora, Gallery Recordings set out to document and develop the best of Australian dance music. The label's catalogue spans downtempo electronica through to trance and techno, with over 50 releases, a management and events arm that has brought the music off the record and into rooms across the country. Artists like Pretty Girl, Sam Alfred, STÜM, AK Sports, Human Movement, FUKHED, Upper 90 and Soul Wun have each found a home at Gallery, growing from local emerging acts into musicians with full-time international touring careers. That trajectory is the point, a label rooted in community, with an eye on where Australian dance music can go next.
